Cleveland State Community College punches above its weight on community events. If you live in the area and you’re not checking their calendar, you’re missing things.

What to expect

The college hosts concerts, theater productions, art shows, lectures, and community classes through the year. The fine arts programs put on public performances, and the continuing education side runs everything from workforce training to hobby classes. It’s also a good venue for regional events — graduations, expos, and community gatherings.

How to do it right

Check the Cleveland State website and social media for the event calendar — most public events are cheap or free, and parking is easy. The campus is on the north side of Cleveland, right off the interstate.
